Usage Policy

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Services by any third party. You must comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

In addition to the prohibitions above, you may not use the Services — including Pebcrow Think prompts, Pebcrow Play generation, or any other AI feature — to do any of the following:

• •Deepfakes and impersonation. Generate or attempt to generate realistic depictions of real people (including celebrities, politicians, and private individuals) without their consent, synthetic voices imitating real people, fake quotes attributed to real people, or content designed to be mistaken for a real person's authentic speech, image, or action.
• •Non-consensual sexualized content.Generate sexual or nude imagery of any real person without that person's verifiable, informed consent, or any sexual content involving (or appearing to involve) minors. This is a zero-tolerance category.
• •High-stakes automated decisions. Rely on outputs of the Services as the sole basis for decisions in domains that materially affect a person's life or rights, including medical diagnosis or treatment, mental health crisis intervention, legal advice or court filings, financial advice or lending, insurance underwriting, employment or housing decisions, immigration decisions, government benefits, or critical infrastructure operations. Outputs are not a substitute for licensed professional judgment.
• •Election interference. Generate or distribute synthetic media intended to deceive voters about candidates, elections, voting procedures, or ballot integrity, or to suppress voter participation.
• •Biometric identification and surveillance.Use the Services to perform biometric identification, biometric categorization, emotion inference in workplace or educational contexts, predictive policing, social scoring, or any application restricted or prohibited under the EU AI Act or comparable law.
• •Weapons, dangerous instructions, and CBRN.Develop, obtain, or distribute instructions for weapons of mass destruction (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear), illegal weapons, malware, or operational instructions for attacks on people, infrastructure, or systems.
• •Self-harm encouragement. Generate content that promotes, glorifies, or provides instructions for suicide, eating disorders, or other forms of self-harm.
• •Manipulation and deception. Build systems whose primary purpose is to manipulate, deceive, or psychologically exploit people, including disinformation campaigns, fake reviews, fake news sites, romance scams, or social-engineering toolkits.
• •Prompt-injection, jailbreaking, and safety circumvention. Attempt to bypass, manipulate, or disable the Services' safety, moderation, or rate-limit systems through adversarial prompts, encoding tricks, role-play framings, or other techniques designed to elicit prohibited output.
• •Training third-party models. Use Generated Content, prompts, or any other platform output as training data, fine-tuning data, or evaluation data for any AI system not operated by Pebcrow.

Output filters and moderation systems can fail. The presence or absence of an automated block does not signal that a use is permitted. You are responsible for ensuring your prompts and use of the Services comply with this Policy regardless of whether the system catches a violation.

As a courtesy to our community and consistent with the practice of other user-generated content platforms, the following personal, non-commercialuses of your Pebcrow experience are permitted, notwithstanding the general no-redistribution rule in our Terms of Service:

• •Capturing screenshots of your own gameplay or interactions for personal use or to share with friends
• •Recording and live-streaming your gameplay on platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, or similar, for personal, non-commercial purposes including monetization through standard creator-platform programs
• •Sharing AI-generated images or short clips from your experience on social media, with appropriate disclosure that the content was generated on Pebcrow

This courtesy does not extend to:

• •Redistributing, rehosting, or mirroring an entire generated game or substantial portion thereof
• •Removing Pebcrow branding, attribution, or watermarks (where present)
• •Selling or licensing Generated Content to third parties
• •Using Generated Content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate non-Pebcrow AI systems
• •Presenting Generated Content in a way that misrepresents its source, including passing it off as original human work or as the output of a different AI system

We may revoke this personal-use permission for any user or content at any time. Pebcrow reserves all rights not expressly granted here.

Access to the Pebcrow API and platform is subject to fair use expectations. A paid subscription grants enhanced participation capabilities but does not entitle you to unlimited, unrestricted, or abusive use of the API, generation features, or any platform feature.

• •Rate Limits: API access and generation are subject to rate limits and usage quotas. These limits may change at any time without prior notice.
• •Automated Access: Automated scripts, bots, or other programmatic access must respect rate limits and must not degrade the experience for other users. Pebcrow may block or throttle any automated access at its discretion.
• •Resource Consumption: You shall not engage in activity that consumes a disproportionate share of platform resources, including excessive API calls, large data transfers, or computationally intensive operations.
• •API Key Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your API keys. Any activity conducted through your API key is your responsibility, regardless of whether you authorized it.

Paid subscriptions provide enhanced access to participation features and additional Pebcrow Play credits. Subscriptions are governed by the following expectations:

• •A subscription is a privilege, not a right. It does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access.
• •Subscribers who violate this Usage Policy are subject to the same enforcement actions as free users, including immediate termination without refund.
• •A subscription does not confer special treatment in enforcement decisions. All users are held to the same standards of conduct.
• •Subscription features, credit allowances, and limits may change at any time. Pebcrow will endeavor to provide notice of material changes but is not obligated to do so.
• •Subscriber accounts are individual licenses for an adult. Account sharing, credit-pooling among households, and corporate use of individual subscriptions are not permitted.

Pebcrow is a platform for adult discourse and adult-oriented AI gameplay. We permit discussion of, and generation of content about, controversial, provocative, and mature subjects. The following content categories are not permitted anywhere on the platform — in submitted entries, prompts, Generated Content, or any other form:

• •Content that is illegal under applicable law
• •Content that directly incites imminent violence against specific individuals or groups
• •Child sexual abuse material, content sexualizing minors, or content that depicts or appears to depict minors in sexual or sexually suggestive contexts (whether the minor is real, fictional, or AI-generated)
• •Non-consensual sexual or nude depictions of real people
• •Content facilitating human trafficking, sexual exploitation, or coordinated violence
• •Content designed solely to harass, stalk, or threaten a specific individual
• •Personally identifiable information of others without their consent (doxxing)
• •Confidential, classified, or proprietary information you do not have the right to share

Pebcrow uses automated and human moderation systems to enforce these standards. Moderation decisions are made at Pebcrow's sole discretion and are final. We are not obligated to explain or justify individual moderation decisions, although we will consider written appeals of automated moderation in accordance with applicable law.

As a user of the Services, you are responsible for:

• •Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and preventing unauthorized access
• •All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it, including use of your account by household members or any minor
• •Ensuring your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including those of your country and locality
• •Maintaining your own backup copies of any content you wish to preserve — Pebcrow has no obligation to back up, restore, or return content
• •Promptly notifying Pebcrow at abuse@pebcrow.com of any unauthorized use of your account or security breach
• •Ensuring no minor accesses the Services, content, or Generated Content through your account or payment method

If you become aware of any violation of this Usage Policy, please report it to abuse@pebcrow.com. For suspected child sexual abuse material or imminent threats of harm, please report immediately and, where appropriate, also contact local law enforcement and the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org). We will investigate reports in our discretion but are under no obligation to take action or inform reporters of the outcome.

We may modify this Usage Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the Effective Date and, where appropriate, by in-product notice or email. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Policy.
